Basic Phrases

• Джума мубарак! (Juma mubarak!) – Jumu'ah Mubarak!
• Я иду в мечеть. (Ya idu v mechet’.) – I am going to the mosque.
• Где мечеть? (Gde mechet’?) – Where is the mosque?
• Во сколько намаз? (Vo skol’ko namaz?) – What time is the prayer?

In the Mosque

• Мне нужно сделать омовение. (Mne nuzhno sdelat’ omovenie.) – I need to do wudu.
• Где сделать омовение? (Gde sdelat’ omovenie?) – Where can I do wudu?
• Можно здесь молиться? (Mozhno zdes’ molit’sya?) – Can I pray here?

During the Prayer

• Хутба началась. (Khutba nachalas’.) – The khutbah has started.
• Не говорите во время хутбы. (Ne govorite vo vremya khutby.) – Do not talk during the khutbah.
• Встаньте ровно. (Vstante rovno.) – Stand straight.

After the Prayer

• Пусть Аллах примет молитву. (Pust’ Allah primet molitvu.) – May Allah accept the prayer.
• Спасибо за молитву. (Spasibo za molitvu.) – Thank you for the prayer.
• До следующей пятницы! (Do sleduyushchey pyatnitsy!) – See you next Friday!
