In Mandarin, 很 (hěn) is often used to mean "very," especially when describing someone. It’s used as a connector between the subject and adjective.

头发 (tóu fa) – Hair
眼睛 (yǎn jīng) – Eyes
鼻子 (bí zi) – Nose
